It's so inspiring when customers come in wearing the outfits, made from our fabric and patterns!  Here are a couple of our latest:

New Cottons

We have new spots & blenders from Red Rooster this week, along with some Peppered cottons from Pepper Cory.  They can be bought by fat quarter or from the bolt.

Valentine Kid's Club

So we're a week early!  Today we made Valentine inspired bag charms/key rings. I love the way, given the same choice of materials, they're all quite different. 

Tis the season to have fabric delivered!

Another interesting mix has arrived in the shop! India inspired cotton prints, a Missoni influenced viscose, cutout jersey & a soft metallic pleat.  I just can't decide what fabric to start on first...!

Hopefully, they should all be up on the website very soon. (Will get the photographer on the case tomorrow!)

Buongiorno fabric lovers!

Well, the trip to the London Textile Fair was worth it!  These gorgeous fabrics arrived from Italy this morning!!  A mixture of fibres - cotton, linen, viscose & polyester. They all have beautiful drape & I can't wait to get my scissors to them!!!

Small Scale Loveliness

Inspired by this cute harvest mouse print & co-ordinating seed head print, I sewed this diddy dress for a 1 year old.  I'd forgotten how quickly little people's things come together! And how little fabric they need!

Both 100% cotton prints are 112 cms wide and £12 per m. The seed head print also comes in grey/yellow and mauve colour ways.

Kid's Club

Our lovely group excelled themselves at Kid's Club, making pencil cases, for the new term! Inserting zips - not a problem!
