Someone's been busy!

Our floral viscose jersey has only been in the shop for a week & one busy person is already wearing it!! Looks fantastic too.

Oooooooh, pretty new things!

Firstly, let me introduce you to Maddie Flannigan! Maddie came over from Philidelphia to teach a bra making workshop in London, which I was lucky enough to get a place on. She is a lingerie designer, with ranges in Urban Outfitters, photographer, blogger & one super fit lady (as you can see, as she models her own designs!).  Busy lady that she is, she has produced 2 lingerie patterns with Simplicity. Both of which are in our shop & the webshop!

I'll be using the bralette pattern, as a basis to teach a workshop on Saturday 22nd October!  There are a couple of spaces available, if you'd like to join us!!

New Poplin Prints

We've had a few new cotton poplin prints in - 112cms wide & £6 per m!!

I'm feeling some present making coming on, especially the vintage sewing print for sewing friends!

Lots of New Fabric..!

Well, we've had a few fabric deliveries this week.  Quite a variety of weights - spotty tulle to stretch gaberdine!  Some viscose jerseys, plain & printed, stretch statins, needlecord & cotton gingham!  Not forgetting my new favourite, Toucan cotton stretch jersey!!

Kid's Club Makes!

We had a fun time this morning, making patchwork wrist cuffs!  Lots of machining & deliberations over fabric choices!!

New Printed Bias Bindings!

These new beauties will add a little extra, to any edge! Necklines, armholes, pockets, bags... to name but a few ;)
