How cool are these Ginger Jeans from Closet Case Patterns (stocked in the shop), made by a very clever customer! Our stretch blue/black denim works a treat 😍

FOE crazy!

You'll know by now, I have a love of FOE or fold over elastic, to give it, it's full name!  It's easy to apply & binds and gathers at the same time.  Another bonus is, it comes in different colours, some patterns & now with a picot edge!

My other great love is lingerie ;)

My Lingerie City & Guilds was worth every minute! It was more based on woven than stretch fabrics, but many of the principals are the same. 

It's also a great way of using up fabric scraps!!

Cosy Cotton

This gorgeous cosy nightshirt has been made by one of our clever customers! 

A super soft, Italian cotton knit, 110 cms wide & £7 per m!

Better late than never...!

It's funny when things turn up, that you'd given up on!  This amazing Japanese cotton canvas from Kokka, must have got seperated from it's friends on the way over.  Still it has been reunited and let the loving start!!!

Almost Spring!

We've had a few deliveries this week, new cotton jersey prints, more indie patterns, picot fold over elastics & more lace zips to start with. Then a restock of linings, interfacing, lawn & a lovely new cotton chambray!
