Before I'd even made my first coffee of the week, look what arrived!  Some gorgeous, smooth cottons and the new range of Cotton knits from Art Gallery Fabrics!  No forgetting the lovely new Colette dress pattern for knits & wovens and the latest dress from Serendipity Studio.  

Not a bad start to the week, now where's that coffee...?

I really want to look, but will that be the end of summer & I'll start hankering after woollens?!

The Great Wave off Kanagawa

One of my favourite pieces of art has been printed on fabric - hurrah!!! 

The Great Wave off Kanawaga by Hokusai, is printed on a medium weight cotton, 110cm wide & £15.00 per m.

I am currently cutting a few metres off, as I think my house needs new cushions or a chair covering or ...!!!

Forgotten Fat Quarters!

Many apologies I'd forgotten/hidden away the gorgeous Art Gallery Fabrics fat quarters, I bought at their product launch a couple of weeks ago! Their Pima cotton is woven with using a finer thread and 200 threads per square inch. This gives the fabric a silky feel and lovely drape.  We have a couple of their ranges, to show their beautiful colours and designs. There's more ordered!!

Japanese Double Gauze!

Another gorgeous fabric from my favourite designer, Naomi Ito! Made up from two layers of fine cotton gauze and printed in a delicate floral design.

We're doubley lucky, as the owner/creative director Pat Bravo, has come over from the States, to introduce them and Bernina are running a workshop demonstrating their many uses. 

Can't wait, so we're hopping on a train tonight & staying over. Just to make sure we're there, bright eyed at 9.30am!
